• Film star Matty (Matthew Modine) leaves Hollywood to settle down with his girlfriend, Annie (Béatrice Dalle) in Miami. When Annie leaves him, Matty’s pal Mickey (Dennis Hopper) sets him up with another woman named Annie (Sarah Lassez). After Mickey films the two interacting as if it was the same relationship as the first Annie, Matty blacks out. Months later he is sober, living in New York with a new woman (Claudia Schiffer). But when he returns to Miami, he is plagued with memories of killing Annie while drunk. He resolves to discover exactly what did happen that night.
