Alan (Adrian Grenier), a Harvard basketball player, is dating Cindy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), the daughter of a mob boss, and Chesney (Joey Lauren Adams), the daughter of his philosophy professor. While attempting to keep the two girls a secret from each other, Alan has to face financial difficulties, a debt from the mob, and the FBI. Harvard Man shows the trials of college life played out against a background of love, sex, basketball, crime, and experimentation.
